Borago officinalis L. (S-Eur.) – A rather regular but always ephemeral alien. Already known long before 1850 but most of the ancient herbarium collections probably represent cultivated specimens. In the past 150 years collected in numerous and very scattered locations but obviously decreasing in the past decades. Borago officinalis is much less cultivated in Belgium nowadays. It is usually found on dumps, in waste land and roadverges or subspontaneous in and near gardens (hedges,…).
