Capsicum annuum

1. Capsicum annuum L. (trop. Am.) – A very rare and always ephemeral alien. First collected along river Vesdre near Béribou in 1905. In recent times more often consumed and sometimes germinating from kitchen waste on dumps or from thrown away pits in cities. In 2011 also recorded on the gravelly banks of river Maas.
