New neophytes for Belgium and NW France. Achillea filipendulina, A. nobilis, Bromus pumpellianus, Carduus pyawcephalus, Crépis foetida subsp. rhoeadifolia, Euphorbia palustris, Initia racemosa, Malva nicaeensis and Silene italica are reported as recently and locally naturalised in Belgium and/or NW-France. Most until now have been misidentified as related native species; therefore their presence elsewhere in W-Europe is likely to be under recorded. The main diagnostic features for most taxa are discussed and for some taxa original line drawings are provided.
