Gleditsia

Gleditsia L.

Gleditsia is a genus of about 14 species. Its center of diversity surely is in the Caspian region but some additional species occur in the New World. At least three or four species are cultivated as ornamentals in Europe (King 1995, Roloff & Bärtels 2006).
