Abstract:

Mollugo verticillata as an alien of railway yards in Belgium. Mollugo verticillata L. (Molluginaceae), a South American alien, has been found several times in the past five years in Belgium, often in abundance and always confined to railway yards. The species history in Belgium is reviewed and its status outside the area of origin is discussed.
