Capsicum L.
Capsicum is a complex genus of 10 species, all native in tropical America. Members of Capsicum (mainly cultivars of C. annuum; see Mabberley 2008 and Jäger & al. 2008 for an overview) are cultivated for their edible fruits (peppers) and sometimes occur on dumps.
