| Abstract: | Abstract. — Acer x dieckii Pax forms a rhizoclone near the Francheville fort in the surroundings of Toul (Meurthe-and-Moselle department, France). That maple of which the horticultural origin is defined had not yet been mentioned in France, as a naturalised tree. It should be the result of a crossing between A. cappadocicum GLED. (and not A. lobelii TEN.) X A. platanoides L. and might exist in the natural state east of the Black Sea. |
