| Abstract: | Identification of floating Lemna species in Belgium. Due to a newly found Lemna, Lemna turionifera, in Belgium we had a closer look at the different species of Lemna that float on the water's surface (Lemna gibba, L. minor, L. turionifera and L. minuta). The determination of those species can be difficult. This article aims to remove some of the problems in identification by presenting techniques that highlight more visible characteristics. |
