Bupleurum croceum

Bupleurum croceum Fenzl (syn.: B. semiperfoliatum Griseb.) (SW-As.) – A very rare and ephemeral alien, always associated with cereals. First recorded near a chicken run in Knokke in 1938 (De Langhe 1974). More recently seen on waste land in Brussel in 1993 and in 2004 on a railway yard with intensive transport of cereals in the port of Gent.
