Cucumis melo L. (trop. Afr., As.) – A regular but always ephemeral food refuse alien (melon). First collected on rough ground in Erps-Kwerps in 1949 but probably long neglected. Seen most years at present. Almost all records are from dumps, occasionally also seen on river banks as well.
