Decaisnea insignis (Griff.) Hook. f. & Thomson (incl.: D. fargesii Franch.) (Himalayas, W China) – An exceptional escape from cultivation or throw-out. A single individual was discovered in woodland in Balen (Mol) in 2015.
Records of Decaisnea in the wild in Europe appear to be fairly exceptional. Wilmore (2000) reported about its escape in Yorkshire in the British Isles as did Crawley (2014) for Berkshire.
