Malvastrum americanum

Malvastrum americanum (L.) Torr. (syn.: M. spicatum (L.) A. Gray) (Am.) – An exceptional and ephemeral alien. Recorded in 1892 as a wool alien in the Vesdre valley (Verloove 1998). In 2005 seen in a garden in Slins (near Liège) from discarded birdseed waste and in 2011 on a gravelly slope along river Maas in Maasmechelen (Boorsem).
