Onoclea sensibilis L. (E-As., N-Am.) – A very rare but increasing escape from or relic of cultivation, usually found in or near old parks or estates. Its degree of naturalisation is often uncertain. After its introduction Onoclea sensibilis persists very well, spreads clonally and is possibly locally more or less naturalised. Long-term records are available from Wépion (Parc de la Marlagne), Mont Rigi (Hautes Fagnes), Deurne (Rivierenhof), Koekelare (Arboretum),…. New localities were discovered in 2010 and 2011 in Eernegem (ditch near castle), Zonhoven (nature reserve De Maten) and Rendeux (close to the Arboretum).
