Phacelia campanularia

Phacelia campanularia A. Gray (western U.S.A.) – A rare and ephemeral alien. Recorded on few occasions since 2012 (e.g. in Deinze, Egem, Gent and Petit-Thier).
Phacelia campanularia is often included in wildflower seed mixtures and at least part of the records refer to relics of former sowing.
This species is relatively rarely recorded as an alien in Europe. Clement & Foster (1994) provide data for the British Isles and Karlsson (1997) for Scandinavia.
