Sorbaria kirilowii (Regel) Maxim. (syn.: S. arborea C.K. Schneider, S. assurgens M. Vilm. et Bois) (China) – An exceptional escape from or relic of cultivation or a mere throw-out. Some shrubs were found growing alongside a former railway track between Roeselare and Menen, near Moorsele, in 2013.
Also known as an escape in the British Isles (e.g. Clement & Foster 1994) and North America (e.g. Layser 1971) and perhaps under-recorded elsewhere.
