Weigela floribunda (Siebold et Zucc.) K. Koch (syn.: Diervilla floribunda Siebold et Zucc.) (Japan) – A very rare escape from cultivation, probably persisting for some time but not really becoming naturalised. Recorded on a railway yard in Braine-le-Comte in 1991, probably as a relic of cultivation or garden throw-out. Discovered in small number on old city walls in Ieper in 2004, obviously self-sown. More or less persistent for some time but probably gone by now (no longer seen in 2009). Finally, also seen on a brick quay of Achtervisserij-canal in Gent in 2010 (a single self-sown specimen, close to a plantation).
