Delphinium elatum L. (C and NE Eur., C and N As.) – A very rare and ephemeral escape from cultivation. Recorded only once so far, in 1949, in the valley of river Vesdre near Verviers.

Delphinium elatum is a very popular garden plant. Plants in horticulture usually are ‘improved’ cultivars with more numerous sepals, deviating flower color, etc. They are best referred to as D. elatum Group.
